Description

Machined Beryllium Part. It weighs 187 grams but perhaps as much as half its weight is in copper motor windings. The piece appears machined from a large beryllium ingot and it’s marked on the casing as beryllium. It is part of a complex rotating machine, seemingly a gyro almost entirely made of this rare metal. Motor stator poles can be seen in end view.
It’s 2” tall and 3-1/8” at its largest diameter.
This unit is estimated as perhaps 50% beryllium metal and sold by weight at below beryllium market.
